Hello gals!! Sorry for disappearing for such a looonggg time! Had school and stuff so did not have much time to put up reviews!

Anyways, today I am going to review : Lovemore Pearl Barley & Milk Smoothing Mask Sheet

This mask is from Taiwan and is endorsed by a taiwan celebrity Jiro Wang. I bought this at Watsons,  the outlet at Forum Shopping Mall.

What made me buy this mask is because of its lovely packaging and also because it had barley and milk! Milk is well known to make your skin soft and white and barley is just awesome!!!

What this mask say it does:
 - No Oily Shine
 - Firmer and smoother skin
 - Whitening

Description
Composed with high quality deep ocean water as base, add in selected top grade plant extracts and traditional formulation from all over taiwan and then combine varies professional ingredients (lol i have no idea what they mean by "professional ingredients"). It may not be the most expensive, but it provides the skin's most desired and most sought-after nutrition. Skin is left healthier looking and more radiant.

Trying It Out

Ok this mask comes in 3 layers, a white plastic sheet (something like the one you find with MBD mask), a blue harder cloth like sheet and a super duper thin mask.

* Do take note of how the hole for the mouth is just a slit

For all those who can't read the Chinese instructions on the packaging, what you need to do is:
1) Remove the outer white plastic sheet

2) Place the mask on your face with the blue sheet facing out (not on you skin!!!)

3) After carefully adjusting the mask, CAREFULLY peel away the blue sheet, leaving the cloth mask on your face

4) leave it there for 10-15 mins

Comments

Smell
The first thing that i notice with the mask is that it has a very strong play-doh smell, I am not sure is this just the pearl barley smell but it seriously had this play-doh smell. But after removing the plastic sheets, that smell was not as strong.

Shape and Thinness 
This has got to be the thinnest mask that I have ever tried! It seems like it will tear so easily, it is as thin as a 1-ply tissue paper!

I wanted to complain about the shape of the mask because the slits for the eyes were quite small and the hole for the mouth is just a slit, nothing cut out at all, its as if  they used a pen knife to cut a slit for the mouth. HOWEVER, because of how thin the mask was, I could easily shift the mask and it stays in its position.

I got to say that I really loved how thin this mask was, it was so comfortable that i almost did not notice that I had a mask on. It was like a second skin.

Result

I am pleasantly surprised at how it turned out. My face certainly feels smoother and firmer, it also left this rejuvenating feeling on my skin (though I am not sure whether that is because I put the mask in the fridge). Though I do not think that it really whiten my skin but to be fair, I only used this once, so i cannot say that it does not whiten the skin.

Would i but this again? DEFINITELY !
